ADF Pilates was developed to give you an effective Pilates workout no matter how long the class. ADF Pilates targets the “Pilates Powerhouse" (all of the deep core muscles and stabilizers) leaving you feeling strengthened, stretched and toned. ADF Pilates gives beginning and advanced options, which will allow for a safe and effective workout no matter what the experience level. Expect a great burn through the abdominals and glutes as well as a focus on strengthening all of the posture muscles to create a strong, supported body. Some classes will be bodyweight only, and some will make use of small pilates props such as bands, dumbbells, and small balls.
Amanda Blauer Pilates
Amanda Blauer Pilates is a Pilates class accessible to all bodies. It will help you stand taller, eliminate pain, and leave your entire body feeling worked! Everything is done on a mat, mostly laying down on your back, sides, or stomach. Amanda’s Pilates class incorporates the classical exercises Joseph Pilates himself created, with contemporary movement Amanda has developed to keep the body challenged. It is a low impact workout focused on alignment and form, as the exercise will be more effective and efficient when the body is properly placed. The breathing patterns in class will keep you mentally engaged and leave you feeling clear-headed and energized as if it were a meditation. You will work every muscle group with bodyweight exercises like planks, abdominal curls, leg lifts, and push-ups. While Amanda Blauer Pilates gives you a total body workout, the focus is your core, taking inches off your waist with consistent practice. Every exercise lengthens the muscles while strengthening them, creating a longer and more sculpted aesthetic. The class will leave you feeling better AND looking better – what more could you ask for?!
