Founder and CEO, Rodrick Covington, ignited the birth of Core Rhythm Fitness through his passion for the performing arts and fitness. It all started while in college studying theatre arts and film at SUNY Purchase. Upon graduation, he toured with the Broadway show “Fosse” and soon thereafter earned a principal role in “The Lion King” on Broadway. Following his passion to pursue TV and film acting, Rodrick moved to LA where he met his Pilates mentor Thalia Thomas. He became certified in all disciplines of Pilates, as well as personal training and nutrition.
Rodrick returned to NYC to start Core Rhythm Fitness and perform. He was most recently a lead cast member in the Tony Award Winning Revival of “Once on This Island” on Broadway. With over 15 years in the industry, his expertise in tailored one-on-one personal training, transformative high-intensity group fitness offerings, and CRF personalized nutrition, Rodrick’s methodologies are sought after by many around the world! His vision and passion for transforming lives continues to bring souls from all over the world into one community.
